On 23 December 2019, THOR Solutions, LLC was awarded a five-year, $5.9M Seaport-e prime Task Order to provide Project Budget Management Support, Financial Management, Configuration and Logistic Management, and documentation development services to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Newport Undersea Warfare Combat Systems Department (Code 25) and Customer Advocate Office (CAO). Code 25 is a full spectrum organization that supports Submarine Combat Systems, Submarine Sonar Systems, Submarine Imaging and Electronic Warfare Systems, Submarine Communications Systems and Surface Undersea Warfare Systems from advanced research to in-service engineering including fleet support services. Code 25 provides resources to National Enterprise Executives to manage the key customer interfaces for NUWC Newport customers, handling work assignments and ensuring that the Command serves as a smart buyer, representing the interests of the Navy in its technical solutions.
Under this vehicle, THOR and their teammates (T-Solutions, Inc.; Patrona Corporation; and Mikel, Inc.) will provide full-spectrum program support services to Code 25’s mission-critical projects and programs including, but not limited to, USW Combat Systems/Surface Trainers; AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System; Virginia Class Submarine Platform Engineering, Test and Evaluation, and Combat Systems; Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TWCS); Ohio Class Non-Propulsion Electronic System (NPES) Engineering; Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical System (SWFTS); Columbia Class; and Submarine Networks and Cybersecurity. Tasking will include project management planning; budgeting and execution tracking and analysis; strategic planning; financial tracking and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support; material configuration management; document development and maintenance; and meeting and event logistics.
The work will be managed out of THOR’s Middletown, RI office and will be led by Mr. Tim Finnegan, THOR’s Undersea Warfare Division Manager. “We are extremely excited to provide high-quality program services to another technical Department at NUWC Newport,” Mr. Finnegan stated.
