On March 3, 2021, the office of Governor Northam officially recognized THOR Solutions as a certified Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program company. Virginia has one of the largest young veteran populations in the United States; thousands of new veterans enter the workforce each year, with that number projected to rise in the coming years. The V3 program’s goal is to educate and train companies on why it makes good business sense to recruit, hire, train, and retain veterans and to help those committed companies to meet their hiring goals. The V3 Program is an official state program, specified in in Virginia Law (§ 2.2-2001.2). It is organized under the directorate of Veterans Education, Training, and Employment (VETE), within the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS).
