Greg Stewart accepts the THOR Hammer award for February 2019

As the Program Manager for the task order providing engineering and programmatic services for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Panama City Division (PCD), Greg oversees THOR efforts supporting the design, acquisition, testing, evaluation, and production of the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC)-1 class and the LCAC-100 class (Ship to Shore Connector [SSC]).

Following Hurricane Michael, he verified the well-being of all affected THOR employees and delivered mobile hot spot devices to them, enabling them to communicate with loved ones. Greg’s communications with the NSWC staff identified several growth opportunities, with THOR receiving plus-up funding for over $250k to date in support of LCAC-100 interim training and TM support.

In Norse mythology, the God THOR’s Hammer – called Mjolnir – was of critical importance to him. His power and strength were significantly weaker without it. Similarly, as a company, THOR’s power and strength lies in its PEOPLE. Without our employees and the great things they do on a daily basis, we are nothing. For this reason, we have named our new monthly employee recognition award the THOR Hammer.

It is awarded each month to the THOR employee who has provided exemplary customer service and has consistently demonstrated the key attributes of THOR’s Corporate Culture (Integrity, Self-Discipline, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Respect). Below, we recognize our recent THOR Hammer Award winners and once again thank them for their outstanding contributions.
