Arlington, VA - THOR Solutions LLC announced that it is a member of a team selected to provide the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) with Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Systems support. THOR will assist SWRMC in providing direct support to Fleet units and Type Commanders (TYCOMs) in waterfront Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA), assessment, techniques, and training associated with the operation, installation, maintenance, repair and readiness of shipboard equipment and systems. THOR will support SWRMC in increasing the reliability and maintainability of shipboard HM&E systems with dedicated field technical support, enhanced availability planning, emergent systematic technical and repair assistance, automated maintenance techniques, documentation and procedures aligned with overarching Navy requirements. 

THOR will also provide engineering operations management, assessments; project support engineer; integrated test engineer; I-level planning; naval architecture, coatings, watertight enclosures, docking; tanks, voids, structures, and passive countermeasure systems; fire fighting, environmental, and freshwater; AC&R/air systems; elevator systems; hydraulics, controls, and piping systems; gas turbines, gas turbine controls, and vibration analysis; electrical; steam/main propulsion; and diesels and automated controls support to SWRMC.

Work on this five-year contract will be performed in San Diego, CA, and other locations nationwide and around the world.
