THOR provides the US Navy’s Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) Expeditionary and Maritime Systems Department (E Department) Expeditionary Warfare Division (E30) with support for programs lead by Program Executive Office Ships (PEO Ships), including the LPD 17 and LX(R) Program Office (PMS 317), the Support Ships, Boats and Craft Program Office (PMS 325), the Amphibious Warfare Program Office (PMS 377), the Strategic and Theater Sealift Program Office (PMS 385) and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). THOR’s efforts support future Air Cushion Vehicles (ACVs), Seabase connectors, expeditionary ships and craft, both in platform and technology areas with Program Management, Business and Financial Management (BFM), Engineering and Technical Support, Test and Evaluation (T&E) Support, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Administrative Support to assist NSWC PCD in the design, acquisition, testing, production, and sustainment of the Landing Craft Air Cushion LCAC-1 Class, LCAC-100 / Ship-to-Shore Connector (SSC) acquisition Program of Record (PoR), amphibious warfare ship, s and the Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB) ship, the T-ESB, formerly the Mobile Landing Platform ship T-MLP AFSB. Performance locations for this requirement span Panama City, FL, New Orleans, LA and Washington, DC, as well as Assault Craft Units (ACUs) in Norfolk, VA, Camp Pendleton, CA, and overseas at the Naval Beach Unit (NBU) Sasebo, Japan.
