THOR provides the US Army’s Product Director Army Watercraft Systems (PD AWS) for the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) and On-Condition Cyclic Maintenance (OCCM) on its fleet of Landing Craft Utility 2000 (LCU 2000) vessels. The purpose of the program is to combine SLEP and OCCM to minimize the vessels’ downtime while extending the vessels service life by at least an additional 10 years. THOR provides support in program management, engineering and technical support, testing, and logistics, including development and management of logistics documentation such as technical manuals, training materials and provisioning/supply documentation.
